Coming Soon: Willow Springs Corsa Motoclassica 2017
Hey fellow C.B.S. readers. Starting on April 21 2017, (Friday) through April 23 2017, (Sunday) Willow Springs Raceway will be having there annual 3-day vintage motorcycle racing event hosted by Corsa Motoclassica. If you love all brands of vintage motorcycles, racing, shows and swap meets we highly recommend that you keep reading and attend this amazing event.
Willow Springs Raceway is located in Rosamond, CA, approx 1 1/2 north of Los Angeles, CA. Corsa Motoclassica hosts the vintage motorcycle event and AHRMA host the practice and racing side of the event. This annual event at Willow Springs Raceway was first founded in 1995, since then it has been growing strong every year. Some celebrities such as Jay Leno usually attend.
"Not too many tracks left in the world..."
There are not too many race tracks left in the world in which one can see a factory Norton Manx racing on a track against an AJS 7R. Corsa Motoclassica in my opinion is an event that shouldn't be missed if you live in southern or northern California. For those that have never attended this event I recommend that you plan ahead and join in on the fun.
"Plenty of parking space..."
We encourage you to ride your motorcycle to Willow Springs Raceway. Plenty of parking space will be offered. You can choose to camp out at Willow or choose to stay at a local hotel in Rosamond. Most hotels are located near the 14 freeway. If you don't fancy any hotels in Rosamond you can choose to stay in Lancaster or Palmdale which is only 15-20 minutes away.
Tickets
General admission tickets are very affordable for each day, 2-day or 3-day. Below are the general admission ticket price. Each ticket will give you access to the motorcycle show, pits, swap meet and the grand stands to watch practice and the race - a great value.
•1-day (per day) $15
•2-day event $25
•3-day event $30
Friday (4-21-2017)
The first day of the 3-day event is usually a light day (lower turn out). Most racers come from out of town, out of state and some even come from out of country. Most racers drop in the first day to get registered and to get set-up. Although I consider this a "light day" the track is still open for practice. (FYI if you show up to the track on Friday you are eligible to get a 3-day pass which could save you some bucks.)
Saturday (4-22-2017)
Sunday (4-23-2017)
The last day of the event is typically the same as Saturday minus the motorcycle show - but the AHRMA racers will be given trophy's and prizes to each class winners.
"I look forward to meeting some of my customers..."
I hope I have convinced you enough to head out to Willow Springs Raceway this April. Each year is bigger and better. Show up for the entire 3-day event or come on a day that is most convenient for you and your family. Classic British Spares will be attending the event as usual. Just look for the C.B.S. booth. I look forward to meeting some of my customers and fellow vintage motorcycle enthusiasts.

@Big Al – Camping is in the parking lot. I am not sure if they have hook-ups for RV’s and trailers. You can enter your bike in the show or simply ride it in the pits or around Willow Springs. It’s up to you! – Hope to see you there!
