New 1970-1972 BSA A65 Stepped Gear Change Cam Plate. This is an O.E.M. quality part that is imported from England. Measures approx 0.165" and the "step" measures approx 0.195". Replaces BSA part umber 57-4026 and T4026.
Fits BSA A50 & A65 twins (Thunderbolt, Lightning, Royal Star & Firebird Scrambler) from 1970-1972 only. Please refer to your parts catalog for proper fitment.
***Very Important***
Please note that this cam plate will not fit the "slot" on the bearing cover plates on 1962-1969 models as they used a "thinner" cam plate. Measure your slot to ensure this part will fit yours. We recommend polishing the ends on this part to give you a more positive shifting experience.
